Inbound Graphic Designer

Inbound Graphic Designer - Now Hiring - Barrie Office 

Who We’re Looking For:

The Inbound Graphic Designer position will be the lead designer on all website design, video and graphic projects for our clients. It's a fun, fast-paced and exciting position with lots of potential to show your design chops! It has an emphasis on the user experience UX, layout, and design. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously using our agency project management system
  • Create the overall brand design and UX strategy for websites - wireframes and mock-ups
  • Develop and ongoing program of social media graphics - that keep up-to-date with current social trends
  • Lead the agency in design discussions that promote Inbound Marketing and lead conversions - what needs to happen to get the client's website to take it to the next level?
  • Create appropriate client brand assets when required - digital and print
  • Client branding program from idea to concepts, logo development, fonts, style guides and the creation of all related brand assets 
  • Assist in brainstorming sessions around client brand messaging strategy
  • Work in conjunction with WebDev and Inbound Marketing teams to ensure all work is delivered on time according to expectations - streamlining process and handoff from design to development
  • Assist with client kickoff, onboarding and weekly check-in meetings
  • Confidently do common tasks such as eBooks, infographics, image selection and ongoing design improvements
  • Create Inbound multimedia resources for the agency. These can be,
    • Heavy on social media campaigns, all clearly defined by goals and objectives - Not just posting for the sake of posting. These must be rooted in a hopeful outcome or benefit for the post
    • Video oversight and/or production  - can direct, storyboard outline, and hire the appropriate solution if necessary - learn how to take quality video and stills, and edit the results - we have top quality 4k cameras and studio lighting and screens in place
  • Occassional blogging on design subjects to show our agency expertise
  • Oversight and administration
  • Anything else to help promote client brand visibility
  • Work in conjunction with the team to ensure client work is delivered accurately and fully developed and on time
  • Assist with HubSpot marketing development for our clients: this includes segmented lists, workflows, blogs, email, social, among others (training is provided)
  • Continuously train and educate client and agency staff based on the tasks at hand
  • Act as an ambassador for the agency, internally and externally
  • Research design, technical and industry trends, identifying new design and UX directions and opportunities, staying on top of trends and "what's working" in the world of Inbound, video, design and social media
  • Ensure clients have a consistently high Net Promoter Score (NPS), and mend those relationships that are lacking in 100% satisfaction


Inbound Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • Either a graphic design college degree, or a related professional design focus, and 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • Proven track record in developing graphics for websites and social media
  • Program management experience (college or extracurricular does count)
  • A passion for continually learning new ways to practice your craft
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills are a must
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, meets deadlines and exceed expectations
  • Excellent profiency in Adobe Suite

  • A creative at heart - You have an eye for design and enjoy coming up with solutions in a collaborative effort (However, you definitely DON’T have to know how to code). 
  • A user-experience lover - You love all things UX/UI related. Content, design, layout, etc. You enjoy exploring what goes into increasing conversion rates on websites, and what needs to be tweaked to generate results.
  • Feel confident in print and digital - from client branding and logo's to print brochures
  • An envelope pusher - You have a drive and passion for finding the "next" big thing, and in fact, enjoy trying to be ahead of the curve. You love researching and staying on top of the latest trends in design.
